Really showcases how "critics" are just talentless hacks. Has a critic ever made anything of substance?
>>
today's audiences just weren't ready to be Stuckmanized. his film will be appreciated with time

Roger Ebert cowrote Valley of the Dolls iirc. Two original Aint It Cool News writers actually wrote John Carpenter's Cigarette Burns.
>>
The Stuckmanization of Hollywood has merely been delayed, not defeated

Why won’t he do a review of it?

Seems like there's a difference which is, there are these companies called film financers, who take on the risk and put the money up and they do it based on seeing like, good work from someone, potential, they're impressed. The successful youtuber movies were people who impressed film financing companies to get real movies made. Chris never did that he impressed a few kickstarter backers with some kind of narrative, I haven't looked into his kickstarter pitch and what his fans said at the time, but you know they weren't backing it because of film making work from him that they liked and wanted to see more of. So, in a sense, he didn't really make a real movie. He made a kickstarter movie and after it was made some grubby group foolishly tried to cashin on his prebuilt audience and release it widely. God knows why they thought 200k (?) people who by definition prefer to see a guy shitting on a movie than a movie, would show up to actually make a profit for them

It's hilarious how the RLM chodes randomly bring up Shelby Oaks out of the blue, they are clearly seething that Stuckmann was able to make a movie that was released in theaters while their crowning achievement is fucking Space Cop lmao.

Ebert wrote Beyond the Valley of the Dolls. Big difference. Quite remarkable that he wrote Russ Meyer films whilst being a total faggot himself.

Movie critics cannot make movies at all.

It's a known fact
