You don’t like Rey’s story?
>>221235294I want to fuck rey
I didn't watch the second or third sequel movie, was she actually a skywalker or just a nobody?
>>221235294Rey didn't have a story.>>221235524In the second movie, she's a nobody (bloodline-wise).The third movie ditches that and decides she's Palpatine's granddaughter.
>>221235524Second film luke is depressed, and after a few minutes he sorely accepts to train her.He learns that she is strong with dark side. Tells her to leave. The other 80% of this movie, I shit you not, has the rebels running away from the bad guys in hyper space. The good guys are just arguing on what to do, then decide the moment they come out of hyper space, to turn around, and hyper space right through the ships chasing them. While all of them escape on escape pods their woke feminst leader with lesbo haircut decides to stay with the shit to pilot it, even though its so advanced you think it could just idk, auto pilot itself with a timer to do the jump, but whatever.>so movie ends with Luke astral projecting to fight Kylo Ren as a distraction for Rey to get in there and help people escape from a planet Kylo is attacking.>The astral projection tires him out so much, he legit just dies LOL=====================================Movie was so boring and so hated that they re-hired the dude that did force awakens, the first film.He threw out everything in the second film and basically acted like this was the second film, but he had to keep that Luke was now dead.Rey is super strong now.Palpatine returned because they needed a new bad guy, because oh yeah I forgot to mention, because Kylo killed their leader in second film and took over.Palpatine in a hidden planet that is inside some nebula of gas has had people making insane amount of destroyers. He plans to attack the galaxy with this armada.Long story short, Rey and Kylo defeat him in a wack way.Rey takes Anakins light saber and buries it on his home planet. A guy passes by and asked her named. She says "Rey Skywalker"Because she refused to be a Palpatine. Showcasing she made the choice to be light side jedi. She is actually grand daughter of palpatine.Rey Palpatine.
>>221235614thank you but you have autism real badso who did palpatine fuck???????
>>221235663That is never revealed. If someone says some shit about "but this book, that book", ignore them. Disney said books are no longer canon, but will nit pick shit they want from them. It's just stated that his son did not trust Palpatine and wanted to keep his daughter safe.Palpatine had his son killed along side his son's wife. They left her alone on that planet she lived on because they were trying to hide.
>>221235684lol this is so badFour characters they introduced:A cocky fighter aceA girl with a hidden destinyAn ex-stormtrooperA dark betrayerthey didn't do anything with any of themI don't understand these stories practically write themselves
>>221235663Anon, that’s not even scratching the surface of how dogshit those movies are. It’s not hyperbole to say that every scene has something glaringly wrong with it.
>>221235757I wish Finn's story was seeing his friend die by failing Kylo Rens Expectation.Fin shoots Kylo, scaring him.Kylo gets made and slashes his chest and thinks he killed him.Rey finds him, and heals him. Setting it up early that she knows the force and has rare healing force ability since they wanted to force that in.Having Finn seek a revenge path would have been cooler.Poe did really need cooler shit to do. He was glorified npc.Kylo ren needed to go darker. But foreals, they needed to write the script for all 3 films before ever filming. They made shit up as they went without making any sense
>>221235806yeah, I could write forever, I condensed it best as I could lmao. They obliterated Darth Vader being reedemed as the choosen one with the "palpatine returned"my love for star wars died the moment I heard them say that line on screen. I couldn't fucking believe they just threw the other 6 films out the window
>>221235898For me it’s the small things.Like how Luke somehow grew a giant ego from people saying he killed Palpatine, something he knew he didn’t even do himself, despite him never so much as bragging about destroying the fucking Death Star during the OT
>>221235878I like this take on Finn. I don't even remember why he decided to turn traitor. But once he was done he was like immediately a Rebel hero and even swinging a lightsaber around????? Like the next day?????He should have been deeply traumatized, conflicted and afraid of his former gang. If he had been indoctrinated his whole life, he would have argued for fleeing the whole area before the Empire showed up because he thought of them as invincible killers. His new friends should have earned his trust and inspired him to fight back.Finn should have started the movie not trusting this turncoat and gradually became a good buddy. He also could have been part of a fairly innocent, abortive love triangle with Rey, which is something they did in A New Hope anyway! What the fuck is so hard about throwing some characters together and having them trauma bond? This shit is screenwriting 101
>>221236131It occurred to me when I was watching The Rise of Skywalker, during the start when Finn, Poe and Rey are arguing about something, that this is the first time they've all been in one scene in the trilogy.
>>221235294I like Rey in 7 and 8. 9 ruined her but that whole movie sucksI would also like to have anal sex with Daisy
Naturally, Jar Jar Abrams is their scapegoat because Rian Johnson is too politically valuable. He makes the chuds angry, after all, and that's worth any amount of money. They're never going to fix it. They'll just hope it somehow fixes itself.
>>221235294What's her story?>she's so great>the end
i never watched this movie and never will
>>221235663Nice gratitude faggot
>>221236306Yeah sorry thank you for not heaving that wall of retarded babble directly into my face so I have to smell your permanent rotten-orange diabetes breaththank you so very much for thatI am genuinely thankfulblow your own head off you're never going to get any better
>>221235524She's Palpy's niece I think.
>>221236220BigBloatedBritishButtocks
>>221235663Why do people assume he fucked? Wasn't his mentor Darth Plageus who could influence midichlorians to create life? Isn't there a soft implication that Palpatine created Anakin as well.
>>221235294not a big fan
>>221236244As if Rian hasn't become the fall guy despite being given a terrible hand and still managing to make the least bad movie of the sequel trilogy.
>>221236358You asked, you got an elaborate answer.>uhh thanks mega autist?Don't ask stupid questions then.
>>221235294i initially liked the concept of her character
>>221235614>Movie was so boring and so hated that they re-hired the dude that did force awakens, the first film.Iirc they wanted to film 8 & 9 at the same time, so they hired Rian Johnson to direct 8, while JJ Abrams did 9. There wasn't much of a plan at the start and the two directors had different ideas of where they wanted the story to go. JJ had already done 7 and based the ending on how the sequel trilogy started. Johnson didn't like the ideas and tried to shift the focus with 8 to change the direction of the entire trilogy. That's why 8 is so fucking weird. It focuses on characters that weren't in 7 and barely make an appearance in 9. Combine that with a bunch of other stupid shit and it shouldn't have been a surprise to anyone that these movies were hated so much.Over an hour of episode 8 is spent on Finn and Rose going on a side quest to find a safe cracker to help them find a list of force sensitive jedi. At the end the resistance decides that it's best to not subject the children to the horrors of war or something, and basically throw it away. So half the runtime is a side quest that ends up not mattering to build up two characters who aren't even in episode 9. Finn is, but he doesn't do anything memorable and the focus is all on Rey and Kylo.
>>221236547lmaothere's literally one scene where she's cute in the trilogy. when she's scrubbing some salvage and staring at the old lady whos doing the same i realized this was basically the only scene where her mouth is shut
>>221235492Can any lore expert decipher the esoteric Korriban runes in this forbidden Sith holocron ?What could be meant by this ?
>>221235663He created (or accidentally caused the direct "rebound" that lead to the creation of) Anakin
>>221236661Colin Trevorrow was writing and directing Episode 9. JJ Abrams took over after TLJ released.
>>221236456Yeah the implication is that Rey is a child of the force, like Anakin. I don't remember the exact lines in the movies
>>221236220Another mystic tome to be deciphered, could it have deep lore implications ?
>>221236220This blade is the key to deciphering this ancient sith text
>>221235614>Rey plap a teen
>>221236543if you were a normal human being and a doctor man sat you down and said you have an incurable permanent waterhead tard disease that would hold you apart from humanity forever, you would understand the subtext is that you should go home, treat yourself to a nice week and gack yourself in a fairly painless, tasteful, responsible manner. But you're a 280 pound middle school piece of genetic shit, so I'm spelling it out for you in plain englishTime to get off the pain train, factory misprint seriously everyone's tired of it
>>221236552Reminder that they had to cut this scene because somebody brought up how goddamn retarded it would be for her to later jump into deep water despite having grown up in a desert.
>>221235294Luke dying from Force Fatigue has to be the most retarded death in Star Wars history
>>221235294>>221236828Jeeze, was she also in a horrible car crash in-between shooting films?
>>221235294>I don’t buy the Mary Sue thing anyway. I find the term sexist in itself because it’s, ‘Mary Sue’. I don’t think there’s a thing called ‘Ryan Craig’>Ridley brought up how "everyone was saying that Luke had the exact same [capabilities]," and she also took issue with the entire notion of a Mary Sue, noting that it's an inherently gendered objection: "The Mary Sue thing in itself is sexist because it’s the name of a woman
