People have been talking about capeshit fatigue and the death of the Marvel movie for years now but I just don't see how this movie doesn't make a billion dollars minimum. If it does flop will it actually kill the Marvel style flick for good?
>>221242796Apparently the movie has a 400 mil production budget and 300 mil marketing budget. So 1 billion is essentially a flop since you have to subtract the theaters cut. I think they realistically need 1.5 billion to feel remotely good about it. Whether that will happen, I don't know. It probably will if receives a positive reception since I can see a "Marlels back" word of mouth storm happening and driving all the millennials to the theater so they dont miss out.
