Homeward Bound 2: Lost in San Francisco (1996)

Imagine being lost!
>>
Cant stand the new voice for Shadow
Also Uncle Jackie from the sopranos plays one of the animal control people
>>
i want to rewatch but also dont because they basically tortured the animals
>>
>>221244304
no need to ruin people's childhoods with any behind-the-scenes stuff about the movie's filming
>>
>>221244304
How did they torture them?
>>
>>221244279
AGAIN!
>>
>average 90s movie that could have featured animal abuse during the production which is jerked off by Millenial tastelets because they watched it when they were 9 years old
>>
>>221244304
Your mixing these movies up with the adventures of Milo and Otis. Both homeward bound movies were filmed under guidance from the Humane society.

Films directed by David R. Ellis
Homeward Bound II: Lost in San Francisco (1996)
Final Destination 2 (2003)
Cellular (2004)
Snakes on a Plane (2006)
Asylum (2008)
The Final Destination (2009)
Shark Night (2011)

What did he mean by this?
>>
>>221244303
well i mean Don Ameche had kind of...died, so...
>>
>>221244303
>Also Uncle Jackie from the sopranos plays one of the animal control people

that apparently used to be a thing in the 80s, shady people used to abduct pets to torture them in animal experimentation labs
>>
>>221244519
Wow. All kino.
>>
>>221244623
Reaganomics was a helluva thing.
>>
>help we're lost in San Francisco
>OH NO THERE IS POOPY LITERALLY EVERYWHERE!!!1
>heh well, when in rome. *eats poop from the ground*
>>
>>221245015
It was still livable back in the 90s. Now not so much.
>>
>>221244229
The only movie that EVER made me want to check see San Francisco, before I learned enough about it.
>>
OH NO, IT'S BIRDZILLA
>>
>>221244229
I wish more animal movies would only dub the voices in instead of also giving them CGI mouths.
>>
>>221245440

>>
I'm not a furry but Delilah was my first animal crush as a kid

I still remember when San Francisco was, "the gay city." Silicon Valley was nearby, but it didn't dominate the place like it does now. My memory of San Francisco is,
>The city where everyone's gay but it's also very pleasant weather
>The Tech City filled with crypto-conservatives
>Generic End-Stage Capitalism City
>>
>>221245612
>I still remember when San Francisco was, "the gay city."
did they kill all the gays or something now
>>
>>221244623
Now it's just Mexicans and their dogfighting rings.
>>
i still remember as a kid being shocked at a Maltin film guide where he pans the first movie and compares it unfavorable to the 60s The Incredible Journey--"wtf are they making the animals talk for? it totally ruined the original film's vibe."
>>
>>221244229
All three of these actors are dead now. Feel old yet?
>>
>>221245668
>some boomer douchebag puts his childhood movie over your childhood movie
>>
My family visited SF in the late 90's and it was the only place where strangers were openly rude to me as an 8 year old kid. It stunk, it was overcast and cold and I remember seeing a chubby homeless guy in a pink shirt screaming at the sky with his eyes rolled into the back of head like he was possessed by a demon.

Everyone was so passive aggressive and weird. Maybe a bad experience but I never experienced anything like that anywhere else.

Back in the day, being gay was all San Fran was really known for. It was a nice city, but very gay. Also the streetcars and hills, I guess.

Nowadays, San Fran’s more known for being a tech bro nightmare.
>>
>>221245818
Silicon Valley was there since the 70s. San Fran was a tech hub back when it actually meant something and wasn't H1B1 Indians coding shitty AI sottware.
>>
>>221245792
>it was the only place where strangers were openly rude to me as an 8 year old kid.
maybe you were just an annoying piece of shit
>>
>>221245906
Maybe but I'm pretty sure I was just a little kid quietly following his dad around doing tourist stuff
>>
>>221244519
All extremely white movies except snakes on a plane
>>
>>221245947
no I remember you, you were a little faggot
>>
>>221246009
Fuck
>>
>>221244229
though i'm positive the World Trade Center was still standing the last time i saw this one
>>
>>221245668
>>221245711
i wonder what he'd say about That Darn Cat (1965) versus the '98 version?
>>
>>221244519
>Cellular (2004)
Loved this movie. Full thing has been on Youtube for 4 years now.
>>
>>221244279
They’re animals they can’t read maps and do not have money for public transit or a cab.
>>
>>221245949
The Final Destination even has a scene where a black guy gets called a nigger though the racist guy dies
>>
>>221244229
>The dog steps on an aids needle
>>
>>221246122
