I was born Uncle Rico

Here's the problem: at one point, Rico had it. He had a past to compare himself to.

I'm 36 and have never had it, so I don't know what it's like to look back at a time I did.

sometime after college, within a year of graduating. at that you realize "holy fuck, i'm part of the workforce now. i'm now the fucking drone i said i wouldn't become". i remember when it happened. was driving home from work, i legitimately had to pull over because i almost had a panic attack.

yeah i realized after i posted that my experience has nothing to do with rico lol. i still think about high school plenty though and e.g. what would have happened if i dated X girl instead of Y girl

I could throw a pigskin a quarter mile. No doubt, no doubt in my mind

I was a captain on the football and lacrosse teams; I haven’t thought about high school in probably 20 years
But some how I manage to act like Uncle Reek at least once a day in front of my kids
