90s slopkinos

Screamers wasn't that bad, the shooting location was great but the special effects sucked. Leviathan and The Relic come to mind. Also Mimic, early del Toro.

all of the gems have been mined
all of the obscure have been found, catergorized and uploaded via torrents or streaming
all of the "you probably missed"s have been watched
the underrated have been letterboxed
the slop has been troughed and shovelled down our throat

we've reached the bleak end of culture, as fast and free communication can allow any person to speed run a hobby, with a efficient watch order guide or chronological chart. what use to take years of learning about, collecting the trickles of information via multiple sources, spending real time in real places hunting down x y z... it's all gone. those who care are at the end or on the treadmill racing towards that end, the rest just don't care. their algo feed is their hobby now.

go on, though. keep making the thread trying to relive the old times when discovery felt real and every night was some new novelty. i'm 100% sure this feeling will keep going. you're definitely not a series of torn flesh and bones at the bottom of a blender just waiting to be particalized enough to fall through the bottom into nothing. you ARE the happy guy wading into the waters at the top totally loving the culture. the kino. the just-having-fun-man.

Western culture, maybe, which was always a limited reservoir.

This movie's fantastic and not slop. This cover sucks and does it no justice, but also far better than the poster that spoils the monster

this one is so good, james woods being a smug prick for 2 hours is hilarious. The only thing in this category I'd say I like more is split second

it's incredible the movie even got made considering they cut the budget by 2/3 just as they were starting filming

I don't know why Schwarzenegger was such a sissy in this movie though. Weird casting. They should've chosen more of an everyman actor instead of Schwarzenegger getting smacked around and embarrassed the whole movie.

Technically it's S(CR(E(A)M)ER)S. But we all know what that title really means.

I prefer it as I Come In Peace, same as Wedlock was Deadlock when I first saw it.
>>

Show some respect, Treat Williams is the Slop King.
>>
>>221278939
In my head I've molded this movie, and the one where Marv from home alone kidnaps a bunch of boyscouts on a white water rafting trip.
In my mind I can see the scene where the kids pee off a mountain and onto kevin bacon clear as day.
>>
>>221269247
So you've seen "lambs before swine"?
>>
>>221279237
Bridget Fonda was a boner fairy.
But you should definitely also watch the original french film La Femme Nikita by Luc Besson (Leon/The Professional, the 5th element). Great part by Jean Reno. Its basically the same premise, but so much more sleazy and french.
>>
>>221279641
thanks anon. watchlisted
>>
>>221279683
Its a completely different tone, but if you watch that and like it, check out their earlier collaboration The Big Blue.
