how is she holding her own shoulder like that?

Almost none of her examples of irony are are actually ironic. Most are just coincidence which people can't seem to differentiate.

>>
If you pay attention, most pop songs from the 90s have almost the same guitar rift near the closing of the song.

I have seen her vagene and bobs. I am not Uncle Joey from Full House.

Jagged Little Pill is a great album from top to bottom. Everything after that was dogshit, especially that song where she starts whining about jeets being good and has her pussy hanging out.
>>

She legit has one of the better voices as far as pop singer from that era. But some of the songs can be annoying from the lyrics and melody aspect.

A wedding day is a joyous occasion characterized by things like white flowers and sun in romantic ideals.
So a bride would not be expecting it to rain on her wedding day.
One would similarly not expect a death row pardon to come in two minutes after the prisoner was executed, even if one were waiting for one, one would stop waiting and hoping once the person was killed.
>>
>>221272126

That's a beautiful song plus you have to remember there was a strong meme of eastern spiritually, especially among vapid musicians, up until a few years ago when we finally admitted these people are nightmares. Even Schopenhauer fell for it, but point stands, Thank You is a beautiful song.

Such a shame that current day Indians ruin the message of the song, because that's not at all what it's about. She went on a spiritual trip to India, not her local Tim Hortons kek

I sort of liked it when it came out but I was a young lad and acted too cool for school so I put my nose down at a lot (most) of the music of that era.

Now that I’m older and sure maybe a bit nostalgic I really like a lot of that music. Funny listening to it and thinking how I thought it was lame and gay at the time.

I was listening to You Oughta Know last week and I recalled her saying she was sort of embarrassed about some of her lyrics back then, which is understandable. But it is a good song and the lyrics perfectly encapsulate the mindset of a bipolar/borderline woman and her voice perfectly captures the emotions. If you want to understand the modern woman with the SSRI stare just listen to that song. Everyone will click into place and you’ll understand why birth rates are dropping, promiscuity is rampant, they see themselves as perpetual victims and why they’ll vote and support replacement immigration and self-sabotaging policies that harm society. That song is an interesting character study.

>>221274844
To be fair that was during a time when yoga and jeet spirituality were becoming mainstream and vogue. She presumably went to some ashram, “found herself” and went on to sing about it. Her own Beetles guru moment.

In my defense it was at two different underage keg parties at the two mom's houses they held for teenagers and they knew what they were doing, and also when it comes to the first one I banged both of her daughters too before that (different times before that night). Also, people I went to school with at that time that are still living there STILL call me "The Motherfucker" when I see them out at a bar or whatever if I go to visit my parents during the holidays or on vacation. So really, who was actually in the wrong and who is the victim here? You look at it in a modern lense and I was totally molested by those women.
