I just suddenly became aware of something. The reason why the show revealed to the audience in the very first scene that Sophia is the MIY is because there is no way the writers would ever be clever enough to write a season with an imposter tricking both the towns people and the audience. Also there is so little happening in the show that they just used Sophia to have at least SOMETHING happen every once in a while. And there are two options you can go with imposters. You either show them doing stuff in the background and being part of the scene, hiding in plain sight from the audience OR you just hide her from the viewers as well. But the latter would result in no content in an already very slow show and the first one would be way too fucking obvious, because there are no other things happening to stop making us pay attention.
Do you think there's any logic or reason as to who ends up stuck in Fromville? The answer is obvious for characters like Jade and Tabitha who had their previous iterations there, but what about all the side characters? Just people who happened to be stuck in a vehicle with the ones the town was actually summoning?
