>>221288377Seasons 1 and 2 are awesome. Unfortunately the season 3 opener had Laura deciding their relationship was strictly business so lots of missed opportunities that season. Season 4 has some decent episodes but nowhere near the first 2. Season 5 was 3 2-hour eps after NBC resurrected it after cancelling it once Brosnan was on the short list to be Bond (that's why Timothy Dalton got it). Still a great show overall, I'd put seasons 3-4 as better than most shows today. Seasons 1 and 2 are pretty untouchable, a combination of mystery, romance, and comedy.

>>221288972Those are widely regarded as the best, but there are a lot of RS fans who love seasons 3-4 too (sometimes called the Mr and Mrs Steele seasons, since even though they aren't as romantically involved they have a very relaxed and familiar way with each other like married couples often do, hence the nickname). Season 3 had a lot of episodes shot in Europe as the production did not want to be in Los Angeles in the summer of 1984 since it was hosting the summer Olympics. The episode where Remington goes back to Ireland and loses his memory is a hoot.
