how dare you downplay stuckmann's importance in getting people back into the theaters, if it were for his brave stance those other youtuber movies would've flopped harder than shelby oaks

Unlike acting skills, critic skills dont translate well to directing. Avgn, nostalgia critic, ebert, rlm made absolutely dogshit movies.

does he have critic skills? i never watched him but i figured his role was more giving the nostalgia of being kids at recess hubristically bagging out movies for being 'unrealistic' like 'nerr that's totally not how a warp drive would work'

It's the boomers and millennials. Zoomers were carrying all the hype and went to see it first, and inflated the positive reviews. Now the boomer reviews are coming in and their not good. Millennials loved it but they have to rate it poorly out of spite for their youngers.

There's a clear difference here and it shows in the critical response to these films.
>The Philippous
>Barker
>Parsons
These were guys that were using YouTube as a platform to upload their work and used that as a pathway to making movies.

>Stuckman
>Markiplier

I really don't understand how Space Cop came out so bad, because Mike and Jay talked and bitched constantly about the very specific mistakes they then went on to ruin the movie with

The motherfuckers 100% Sharknadoed when they should have Birdemicked. People on /tv/ should know what I mean when I say this.
