A weirdly good era for media. Enough CG to make ambitious adventure and fantasy movies like LOTR but not enough to totally lean on to the point of uncanny valley.

I was watching a ton of Cartoon Network/Adult Swim in my dorm. And also hitting my weeb era. The ending of Cowboy Bebop blew my mind after growing up on Disney fare where people are always pretending to be dead.

Missed out on some of the geeky and cult TV shows at the time like Battlestar Galactica and Veronica Mars but ended up liking them later.
