I tried watching this movie and gave up halfway through it.I can't put my finger in the reason. It just....missing something for me.

Watching both True Grits back to back made me realize that I hate shot-reverse shot filming. In some scenes you can't even tell that the characters are in the same roomJUST LINGER ON A SHOT FOR MORE THAN 3 SECONDS GODDAMN
