All collectors are fags.

This hoarding behavior started with Boomers and stops with early millenials.
No one cares about your useless shit, no one wants to inherit your useless shit.
>>
>>221304753
They sell out extremely quickly. Most theaters, only receive 12-24 of them total. The theater chains actively want them to be considered luxury merchandise. They welcome the scalper market.

I was going to make a reply saying how stupid these are, but then I saw the Grimlock head and want one so now I've changed my mind and actually I'm the one that's stupid.
>>
>>221305896
You must have a lot of kino vessels
>>
>>221305996
Just a few of the generic tins. I find most of the vessels gimmicky but I do have the Beetlejuice 2 sand snake.

I wouldn’t mind making something else disappear inside her popcorn vessel if you know what I mean.

At my previous job, a gay hispanic co-worker collected Disneyland ones. He had a few at his desk. I never got the appeal.

I've got two since 2024. I don't really make a habit of collecting them or even looking out for them, just if I see one that looks funny. Got one for Gladiator II because it came for free with my ticket. It's just an aluminum tin made to look like the colosseum. I use it as a waste bin for paper goods near my computer desk.
Second one is Skeletor's head from Master's of the Universe. Eyes light up and everything. It'll be cool to fill it with candy come Halloween.
Wish there was one for pic related.

Collector trends are crazy
>>
>>221304753
most industries now have someone specifically made to hack a few whales minds with collector trends, and force scarcity of the product on purpose
basically they just hope to catch someone with an empty soul into their snare to bait them into feeling like they're doing something meaningful for a while, when really, no, they're just being tricked into overpaying for plastic crap
>>
Been really thinking about starting a vessel collection. What are some good starter vessels for noobies?
>>
What are the saddest things to "collect"?
>Sneakers
>Popcorn buckets
>Funkos
>Legos
Anything else?
>>
>>221310112

I only have a couple popcorn buckets. The Avatar Fire and Ash one, and the MOTU Battle Cat one. If they'd released the Optimus and Ecto-1 buckets where I live I'd have probably grabbed them as well.

Imagine not buying one of these when enjoyed Nolan kino

My wife bought me an unused beaver popcorn bucket from the Naked Gun reboot as a joke for our Anniversary because the first naked gun is one of my all time favorite movies. It's really stupid but funny and everytime I walk by it I think nice beaver. But yeah, popcorn buckets are stupid but that one worked for my situation
