>>221329938I've had a fairly large vegetable and fruit garden for decades, I used to do it all by hand when I was hopped up on authenticity and shit, it's an enjoyable hobby. It wasn't so much the picking of the cotton that was the labor intensive work, it was teasing the cotton seed out of the boll which took some time until the invention of the cotton gin. But yeah, I agree, my dirt farming hillbilly ancestors should have been getting paid fair wages to do that work instead of a bunch of foreign scabs brought over to do it.

>>221330285Yeah having a garden at home is basically what 95% of humanity did since the Neolithic Revolution and they learned by doing it. You know stuff by doing it. Also my great uncle had a farm with cattle and basedbean fields that I sometimes worked during summer vacations, but that was just like fetching and carrying type work.
guys, I have a few easy to raise plants doing well at home, I could easily do hydroponics to feed a crew of hundreds aboard a starship. nothing about it.by the way my boyfriend cooked for a crew of 12 on a warp 2 freighter for six months years ago, he's going to cook for you. Klingons also have two dicks, and Jadzia had her private parts surgically adjusted to mate with Worf. And let's not forget the many mentions of Bolian digestive specifics.possible, but not necessarily easy. I still think Mass Effect did a good job at exploring that topic with their take on protein structures.

>B'Elanna has a near death experience>gets to see Klingon hell>Neelix has a near death experience>nothingHaven't the Talaxians suffered enough after getting giganuked?
>>221336620It was alright, the best part of it was seeing Cybertron pre-war, a functioning society of machine people doing their thing. The VA choices were terrible though, why would you waste all that money hiring big-name actors for CGI characters? Johanson did a fine Elita but Optimus and Megatron sound wrong the whole movie, and Bumblebee is just awful. No clue what the future of Transformers is, atm they're doing their 40th anniversary of the original movie with corresponding toys, and the Image comic seems to be pretty popular.
Are superheroes a thing in Star Trek universe? Like, is anyone make new stories about Superman in 24th century?

>>221337856Explanation not found, please elaborate.
>>221337615As anon said, transporter takes care of everything, you can have carpet in the kitchen, bathroom, fish tank it doesn't matter. Crumbs, dust, mould any contaminants get beamed away down to the tiniest fragment. How do you think jeets are tolerated on starships if they weren't constantly tracking and disposing of their vile stink molecules?
>>221337856>Carpet is for poor people.Including the Heirloom Persian in my dining room? Wow lad, surprising new information to me.Tell me what school you went to and how it ain't named after a saint
Damn...they really are defending the carpeted bathroom.
>>221337875I bet that carpet reeks of piss and cum
>inb4 transporter accident results in a sentient marinara monster running around the ship
You will literally have to a full beam sweep of every square inch of the carpet at least every 24 hours in order to clean all the food and moisture particles trapped in it. Even that probably wouldn't be enough because in those 24 hours you'd still be kicking those particles up into the air just by walking on it. It's gross and energy inefficient. Stop putting carpet in your dining area you freak.

I got back into Trek watching TNG. I had watched a lot of Voyager on TV when I was younger. I really want to get into DS9 but man the first 2 episodes have not given me confidence. Its 90% mystic schlock with a quick "oh yeah theres a wormhole here" tacked on at the end. Also its annoying they made Picard antagonistic. What is the point of that? I have seen clips of the series that make me very interested but I hope those highlights weren't one-in-a-season like Voyager could be.

Don't think so man.The closest you can get to seeing Heaven or Hell is what Bashir and O'Brien saw in that one shared vision when brain diving Sloan. There's no coming back from walking into the light, the same as there is no unfucking the thanksgiving turducken.

>>221358503I’d love to watch a weird crossover at the movies; You can still develop the characters in a new story, while they are on a team, and use them unexpectedly with crossovers. It is possible to achieve, rather than just have them fight like a Godzilla.Kirk & Raphael or Picard and Raphael Detectives in 1930s. (I know Picard is probably too old).Or you could cross Star Trek x Goonies, and have the adult goonies help TOS crew. Each of those would allow a cool story and develop characters we already know.
