Born and raised Mormon here, but haven't gone for many years because I felt like a hypocrite for attending because I feel nothing spiritual and never have.
I'd say if you grew up in a ward without any assholes, then the worst case scenario, even if you don't care about anything spiritual, you'd get from it was growing up with normal and healthy common sense values.
