Say something nice about it

It's a great movie. 10/10 and the first time I saw that animation I was blown away.

Let me guess, I'm supposed to be mad because

>it's about a black guy
>it's animated
>it's capeshit

Well, I'm struggling to think of a better movie.
>>
>>221339713
As someone who thinks all live action capeshit is shit, this one gets a pass
The OST is kino
>>
it flopped
>>
>>221339713
Why don't Spider-Negro and Spider-Tranny cover their have with the mask?
>>
>>221339713
as a proud mutt the thing i love most about this movie is that hes black
>>
>>221339713
USAID money made that look like a success. The reviews are totally astroturfed. Miles Morales is one of the most unpopular characters ever pushed by Marvel. America Chaves is a closed second in this regard.
>>
>>221339827
Pacing is atrocious, most of the characters from the first movie get sidelined, and the movie ends on a cliffhanger because they decided to introduce some villain halfway through the movie but didn't bother making him relevant until the post-credits scene where he goes, "I'm going to be to be important in the NEXT movie!".

Also the upcoming "twist" that will reveal the leader of the Spiderverse HQ isn't from the universe he says he's from is very blatantly predictable.
>>
>>221339713
I watched it with some friends and liked it a lot :)

I hated the over use of the color static effects, I was done with it before the opening credits were finished.
>>

An unbelievable coupling. We've had over a decade of this shit being pushed and male groids are still one of the most undesirable men on the planet. Asian men are still undisputed when it comes to being the most unattractive.
>>
Miles Morales goes against what black people and zoomies think cool is.
They are not into broody isolating vibes whatsoever.
They define themselves through social media, online friends, and a haunting fear of being ostracized for wrongthink.
To that end they have nothing in common nor do they want to self-insert with a dude with no friends and no social media presence.
It basically doesn't resonate at all with the target audience.

Their ideal Spider-man would be brash, cocky, have lots of friends, would be vaguetalking and mumbling, popular with e-girls, wouldn't care about crime (would likely instigate low level riots and flash mob burglaries) and so on...
>>
>>221339713
The best animated movie since Akira. I would also argue since The Iron Giant tho.
>>
>>221339713
I don't remember a single fucking frame from this pointless soulless zoomer mess.
>>
Movie shoots itself over and over, probably because it was made by looney troons.
>Future spider man shows up
>ITS INCREDIBLY AWESOME
>masculine and intimidating
>holy crap I wouldn't wanna mess with this guy!
But then one of the jewish writers had to put their foot down.
>have him start crying and get saved by the most diverse character ever!
So when Future man starts chasing Miles we feel no tension at all.
The whole movie feels like it was re written a dozen times.

I never saw either of these movies but I showed my nephew Raimi's Spiderman the other day and he was confused as to why Spiderman isn't black. When Tobey appears he said "wait... that's supposed to be Miles Morales?"

Bro, what do you mean? Yeah they fucking are. Guys like Jinwoo get glazed all the time.
>They define themselves through social media, online friends, and a haunting fear of being ostracized for wrongthink.
Online, yeah. Not IRL.
>Their ideal Spider-man would be brash, cocky, have lots of friends
So the original?

I'm back and forth on which one is "better". I like both more for different reasons. Overall I gotta go with the second as my favorite of the two. The intro alone is worth rewatching a bunch of times.

>ends on cliffhanger

IMDB ratings for anything released after about 2010 are complete BS.
For older content though, it's mostly accurate.
But that "recency bias" crap is a real problem on every website that has user ratings.
>>
I can't abide by movies that are clearly one long movie chopped into parts, this movie had no ending

It’s a great movie that’s sequel is being held up by a black incel
>>
>>221339713
I don’t know how anyone could dislike this, especially 4chan, the spot is literally me. He’s one of the coolest villains ever. A regular, bright white guy, presumably not gay, basically invisible to the world around him, his whole world and carter and relationships crumbled and destroyed by the antics of the rampaging negro? Delusion of grandeur made real? Awesome, fearsome, unknown powers? Powers that he learns to nearly master in a very short and terrifying time frame with playful curiosity? He becomes a giga-threat to an entire team of colored and disabled professionals in no time at all because his true super power is just being an intelligent whit dude. He is LITERALLY me. I will root for him. I know he won’t win because movies are lame, but how can you not like him?
>>
>>221344142
The entire fanbase of this crap is black incels

You don’t have kids though chud

>>
>>221339713
I’m not even trying to be racist but holy fuck it’s like they went out of their way to make that guy look as ugly as possible? Why does he have messy curly hair that poofs up? Why do his body proportions look so wrong? Why is his nose so massive?
>>
>>221344142
Fuck, I forgot about adding this into the equation. The main character is this black messiah type, but he’s a whining bitch that everyone picks on and he struggles with his powers despite having them forever. In contrast to the spot, it’s an incredible glimpse at the self-hatred blacks feel for themselves and the lovecraftian horror they endure constantly in the midst of the white man, who can seemingly effortlessly master incomprehensible forces and bend them to his will.
Are blacks really that fucking scared of whites?
>>
isnt Miles VA's a creepy incel?
