Backrooms are meant to be a few images you see online. You get really stoned and imagine what it would feel like to be there and wander around the corner. You remember experiences as a kid that were kind of similar. You get to go Oooh that would be creepy! And then move on. It should never have lore or monsters or movies or anything else.
