The change the channel document was so baffling to me. It had some genuinely serious shit in there like the sexual assault allegations that should have been the focal point. But then right after that would be some shit like Linkara whining that Doug didn’t let him use his studio. It just took away from the actually important matters and made it appear to be more about petty grievances

The scope of the projects is like something that people on Youtube in 2007 would be like "wow way to go!"However even by like 2012 or whatever year TBF was, even then youtube creation had evolved, and now you've got professional level production on tons of youtube channels going back like ten years at this point. Doug's production never evolved past what would be ambitious/good on youtube in 2007. Things back then were simple and quaint and sharing easily accessed videos was "new" at the time and people were still getting into the idea of producing and sharing stuff so easily themselves. The old RoosterTeeth RvB stuff from like 2005 or Arby and the Chief are good examples.
