I've thought about something, but I don't know if it's cool or cringe. Maybe HotD should have war room council scenes where the Blacks and Greens move their dragons around a map and use drawing compasses to draw concentric circles of range around them. Like missile range maps.

Older dragons can cover more distance in the same time and are more dangerous in a fight. The strategy considerations should revolve around trying to cover as much land as possible with your dragons vs. not spreading them too thin so they can't support one another.

havent read the books but it seems like strategy for fighting with dragons only consist of planting a dragon somewhere and lie in wait for an ambush, or to let an army soften a target fort or something up then have a dragon swoop in to join. they use the dragons sparingly, in the books do they use them more often? i guess i could understand why they would use them sparingly cos once one dies the rider loses all their power and aura

It makes NO SENSE to drop any resources into putting him on screen.

Speaking of Rhaena, anyway...ugh, now they have to either conjure up from thin air a "YOU GOT JACE KILLED" plotline, or - as they often do - completely ignore the issue going forward.
I can't say I look forward to either of those, I would have preferred Nettles.
