Why is this movie so beloved? It's barely better than Crystal and Dial. Anyone who says this is on par with Raiders or god forbid the best one is smoking crack
It was my favorite as a kid but watching it as an adult aware of the Temple of Doom controversy its impossible to not view this film as damage control. It feels like an overly safe and more family friendly sequel
