Rather than remake films or shows, why don't they try remaking actors now that we have the technology. I for one would love to see what a young Keith David could bring to the table in the 30's. Start him and 18-19, heck he could start out as MCU Miles, that way it doesn't matter whether it works out or not. But if it does, I imagine a solid couple decades of 2 emotional dramas for every comedy/family and he can do legacy roles like Lando Calrissian, or a Quick and the Dead remake. Or hell, Buck Rodgers. Who says Buck Rodgers can't be black?Obviously the actual Keith David won't stop working for another 20~ years. Maybe they can even do a father/son thing. Limitless possibilities here. You can go organic and start with a human and give them extensive surgery, but it'd be smarter to take the human element out completely and go with CGI, AI, maybe even use some sort of robot to bring him to real life for events.
