Zach Cregger's Resident Evil reboot is going to flop. The reality is that Resident Evil only works as extravagant, bombastic pulp. Capcom understand this. Paul W.S. Anderson understood this when he was in charge. Slapping Resident Evil on a generic horror movie is a terrible idea.

Focus on mystery, not on action.
