One thing I loved about Orson Welles is that he would often tell the most wonderful, fantastical, absurd stories, many of which were exaggerated and a good deal probably never happened at all, but you enjoyed believing them because of the way he told them and the fact no one had any goddamn smartphones to shit things up.
