That isnt amores perros or matando cabos. Did feel like going on a road trip but way too dangerous in mexico. Rudo y cursi is way funnier.

El.secreto en sus ojos and 9 reinas are must watch classics but argentinian. Mexico hasn't produced as many movies. I remember a couple that were big hits but just barely. A movie can be huge in mexico but still unknown to the rest of the country.
Maybe I'm a brainlet, but I genuinely didn't get the point of this movie. "We were besties until she came along and now we're not," just feels a little empty. Did I miss some underlying point about love or growing up or something?
