A daily reminder that "so bad it's good" culture propagated by companies like Vinegar Syndrome, RLM "Best of the Worst", Sam Hyde, Doug Walker, and MST3K is terrible for the soul and one of the tactics they use to demoralize a population.

Whether you participate in Option A or Option B, you are pure scum:

Option A
>"Don't you get it? Buying VINEGAR SYNDROME MOVIES is being part of an INSIDE JOKE!!!!"
>"LOl look at the trailer and all the awkward guttural laugh moments in the movie. How incompetent!"
>"OMG "GARBAGE PAIL KIDS"!? I SAW PEOPLE MAKING FUN OF IT ON YEW TEWB. I WANT TO BE A PART OF THIS UNDERGROUND MOVEMENT."
>"It was entertaining how bad it was"
>"Wait no! My collection of terrible movies is an inside joke! That's not me! No no no!!!!"
>"*I* am a noble consumer who identifies with YORGOS LANTHIMOS films. I was only enjoying those films IRONICALLY."
>"Those low budget outsider movies? Those are for fucking LOSERS. Let's all POINT AND LAUGH at them."
>"People who make non-Hollywood outsider art deserves ridicule!"

This entire culture is simply poison for your soul which Oswald Spengler once said, represents moral rot in a society in its late winter. It's sad seeing zoomers fall into this instead of embrace the most beautiful possible art, art that speaks to virtue, goodness, and ideals. Art that makes us better people for having experienced it. Art that enlightens us, makes us think, and makes us strive to do better.

Zoomers were watching Drive and Beyond the Black Rainbow, when millennials were glazing MCU movies, so they aren't that bad

Mike's love for Hokum shows me he has lost his touch.

No it shows that he's lusting after Bill Hader who has gone on small podcasts, and who he may be able to get into contact with due to Dennis Quaids son.

This might be the biggest asspull headcanon I've seen on this board in a while, which is saying something.
Zoomers were barely concious when those movies were released.

Zoomers are in their 40s now. I don’t know why it’s so difficult for /tv/ in particular to understand that time passes no matter how much you deny it
