Apollo 18 is a great film, it rocks
>>
I'd give it a C

It's his third best behind Backdraft and Willow

If you're considering watching this garbage, you should watch Star City instead.
An alt history 1970s space thing which is actually good

Be honest, was the moon landing real?
>>
>>221382385
Actually a prequel to project Hail Mary
>>
>>221384260
Found footage genre didn't start with Cloverfield.
>>

Yes.
The moon landings were so real that in recent years, a lot of moon landing deniers have shifted or pivoted to
>the Apollo missions really did pretty much everything they claimed to do, other than send people there
because it's hard to explain all the lander hardware still sitting there and the shadows of the flags being visible, and how other countries' orbiters can see them, and so on.

Problem is to make sense of that, NASA must have had a bunch of remotely operated or automated technology which wasn't known to exist in the 1960s and 1970s. Likely even harder to do it that way at the time than with human astronauts

give it to me straight. is this and 'for all mankind' propaganda and jewish fantasy or actually a good watch?
>>
>>221384589
It's actually a good watch. There's 6 of 8 episodes out, so I can't say how it ends. But still, pretty good, different feel and genre compared to F.A.M. It's more of a spy thriller, less alt history politics stuff.
My only major complaint is it's all in British English and there's not even an option to watch it with a Russian dub and subs instead. Though not the first show to have handled Soviet characters this way

ty. i kinda hate spies though, but thanks for the rec!
>>
>>221384690
Yeah when the setup is super secret Cold War stuff I don't know how you'd avoid having espionage be part of it
>>
Almost as good as Cloverfield. Top 15 found footage movie.

My brother actually thought it was a documentary.
>>
relatively boring movie but the ending is bretty gud. which, i guess, is how 90%+ of /ff/ movies are lel.
>>
>>221385434
Me too. They advertised it as based on real events.
>>
>>221385471
Yeah but my brother thought it was a doco even after seeing it and seeing the aliens. He was older than me and wouldn't let me explain that it's just a fictional found footage movie.
