>Boomers think this is an age appropriate children's movie
>>
It is
Kids should learn to fear and hate the long eared cancer called rabbits
>>
aww they're playing :)
>>
>>221383115
The Plague Dogs was directed by the same guy. That scene. THAT scene.
>>
>>221383115
It could be that he still lives his fierce life somewhere else.
>>
Boys love violence and fucked up shit. It was for boys.
>>
>>221383115
Children should be exposed to scary and difficult things. It's healthy for their develolpment to experience a wide range of emotions and feelings including fear and sadness in a safe and controlled way (like watching cartoons)
>>
>>221383115
Kids love violence and horror. Why do you think FNAF became a sensation with under 12s?
>>
zoomies would get ptsd and autism from watching that clip alone
>>
>>221383269
Are they gay? Why is one rabbit on top of the other rabbit?

Even still Watership Down is one of my favorite novels. I actually stopped reading Journey to the Center of the Earth because I got so enthralled with Watership Down in 4th grade.

fuuuck, am I really about to rewatch those two movies?
>>
I still haven't seen the plague dogs, it just sounds grim with no respite.
>>
>>221383454
You need to be quiet right now
>>
>>221383477
All depends on how you interpret the ending.
>>
My parents played this for me when I was 6. And I turned out ok.
>>
>>221383115
Not a boomer so idk what movie this is
>>
>>221383155
what scene, ive only seen Watership Down
>>
>>221383521
>And I turned out ok.
is being here "okay"? probably not
>>
>>221383556
That's the joke.
>>
>>221383477
i read the premise and it sounds like they make it in the ending
>>
>>221383115
For tweens and older, yes.
But kids these days are scared of girls and vice versa well into their twenties. So I'm not surprised it's seems too much for you.
>>
>>221383567
It is still a grind, and everything they go through along the way is so gruesome, it ought not be shown to young children.
>>
>>221383566
there are no jokes. the Lord God made us all with serious purpose and our every mistake is a mortal tragedy that we wont comprehend until weve burnt in hell for infinite years
>>
>>221383509
>>221383567
General Woundwort's body was never found either.
>>
>bigwig isn't even the chief

This was such raw genius
>>
>>221383509
Its obvious as fuck they drowned. They could've at least had a happy ending considering all the fucking misery they put into that movie
>>
I have a vivid memory, literally carved into my brain, of the moment they fall into the incinerator and almost get burned alive.
>>
>>221383614
Insane storytelling. From the first interactions with Bigwig to facing the general, who's more humanized or rabbitized than most villains, it all meshes together like a clock. Bigwig's arc and Hazels and then the general's story, where he's clearly the main character.
>>
>>221383595
i dont think plague dogs is popularly shown to kids to any degree
>>
>>221383701
Not anymore. But children, ones of elites especially, some years ago were forced this rite of passage.
>>
>>221383602
big if true
>>
>>221383477
it's definitely bleaker than Watership Down
>>
>>221383115
Animal farm was a kid's cartoon. as it should be .
the childers must know of evils of communist piggus!
>>
>>221384109

Ever notice how the less violent and fucked up children's media gets, the more violent and fucked up the world gets?
>>
>>221384214
the new childrens programs brainwash the kids to kill, kill kill. cocomelon makes kids wanna kill
>>
>>221383115
>Well, I said I would try to impress you, I hope i have
>and I said, I would kill you myself, there's no bird here Bigwig.
Kino dialog.

Boomers were out sent out in the morning with a gun and told not to return until they had dinner at age 6

I loved the Redwall series as a kid, and they were overall pretty tame in their graphic depictions of violence but two scenes that always stuck with me were Martin's lover getting her skull bashed into a wall and this one henchman with bad teeth being force fed a bird and choking to death on it.
>>
>>221384214
nah there's still some vile goddamn ai slop videos out there, kids love gruesome or horror-themed shit for some reason, especially if it involves giant cryptid things tearing each other apart and eating people. i guess it'd really be a matter of realistic violence vs abstract nonsense
>>
The black rabbits of Inle were the coolest lore.
>>
>>221384287
maybe if the new gen did this than Russia could win their war already
>>
>>221384214
it's the other way around
when stuff fucking sucks, you make nice cutesy shit because that's your fantasy
when life is good, you make dark and gritty stuff because that's your fantasy
unles you're a slav, they have shit lives and still make overwhelmingly depressing media
>>
>>221383322
Because they are fighting? How repressed are you that the first thing your mind wandered to was homosexualtiy?
>>
>>221383503
kiss my ass, bot
