I don't get this. Is it intentionally bad on purpose? People are strangely defensive and hostile about it.
it's a kids show
>>221384691No, but it's a comedy on purpose. It was originally intended to be a more serious show but they couldn't secure a non-morning time slot so they made it more kid friendly. And yes, camp defenders on 4chan are very touchy for some reason.
Comics are fun stories for children. The show did it right.
>>221385569Most people who are into comics are over 40 years old today. It was only the 1930s through 1950s that the little kids were into it.
>>221385569you're an idiot
>>221385584>>221386249t. manchildren
Batman comics during the 50s and 60s were literally like this show
>>221384691it's camp. it was literally allowed to be a thing even until the 90s. it's only in this insufferable century that anything has to be grim and serious for people to watch
>>221384691>zoomer struggles to understand capeshit before the age of marvelLol
>>221384691you will never even get HALF as much pussy as adam west and burt ward got on the set of batman in the 60s
>>22138558440 year old children>>221387685camp can be good but everyone who tries it now does it for irl reddit upvotes or whatever they cant just be goofy
>>221384770bro i watched it when i was 4 and i knew it was shit
>>221384691it seems like some sort of retarded boomer irony thing but i think its just that they were stoned & brainrotted
>People are strangely defensive and hostile about itI would suggest finding other people to discuss it with then, it sounds like they are not your friends if they can get riled about it like that, or perhaps you just used a tone that seemed overly aggressive.Always remember that is hard to "hear" the tone of a conversation when is just written. If I may speak for myself, I enjoyed it as a kid, even now if I were to watch it, I would take it as a live action cartoon, no particularly high stakes, is just something different from the current batman, or hell even most batman cartoon, still think its existence is worth it for being able to stand out among the many spins the character has.
>>221389115Alternative hypothesis: OP is a faggot,
>>221384691I used to watch the repeats in the 90s and loved it
>>221385569Evidently not, as much better movies and comics have come out since then that have more elaborate storytelling and better direction.
>>221384691best batmandon't @ me
>>221390825Oh yeah. Criminal that they didn't do more movies after the show was sunk by the Batgirl introduction.
