>2026>i am forgottenhas there ever been a worse fall from grace?
>>221387194What grace? Anyone with any brains made fun of this guy from the start.
>>221387274i was talking about the show
>>221387194He was good in Shameless until they made him fall in love with his professor and turned him into an alcoholic.
>>221387194Civilians always pretend to care, anon. It’s our lot to be paraded around only to be quietly forgotten once it stops being trendy.Semper Fry, brother
>give new season a chance>few episodes in>nothing fucking happens againim so sick of syd as well god what a waste this show turned out to be

>>221387194I almost watched the pilot for this and it was cringe.
>>221387194>>221388921HeroesWent from being one of the most hyped up / discussed shows in its first season to literally who tier.
>>221387194>modern restaurant show>no jeets and other mystery meat thirdies in the kitchen staff>no food poisoningVery unrealistic
>>221387194They were just talking about it today on NPR. The other main guy from that show was being interviewed on Fresh Air.
>>221389016I watched the whole first season and really liked it and then I just didn't care and have had no desire to watch any more of the show. Kind of strange. That never happens. But I think it's because I used to be one of those guys. Culinary school, big city restaurants, fancy plates. And I haven't done much with my life lately. Never found that great Exec Chef job and stayed. Just kept moving on to new kitchens, drinking a lot, never putting down roots or getting too inspired to create inventive new dishes. Didn't end up being the passion some people have. I'm good at it but I just don't care anymore. You have to care to work that hard for so many hours. I enjoyed coworkers and the job and all; it was always fun. But it was always making money for someone else. And I don't love it enough to open my own joint.
So maybe watching it make me feel wistful like I wasted a bunch of my life. Maybe that's why I tend to avoid chef-centric entertainment these days.
>>221389093>I watched the whole first season and really liked it and then I just didn't care and have had no desire to watch any more of the show. Kind of strange. That never happens.its for the best honestlyseason 2 was alright but its just been a complete disappointment from then onwards
>>221389093>t. mcdonalds fry cook
>>221387194this isn't adam driver?
>>221387194I never watched the show (I assume its about the life of people working in a restaurant) BUT I always got a chuckle out of this meme
>>221389030How did they fumble it that hard?
maybe if they made the show about cooking instead of le family depression people would watch it
molly status?
>>221387194>2026>i am forgottenmy dude, the only reason we memed this show in the first place was because of how fucking bad it was. Thing is, cringe kino only lasts for about a season or two before you get tired of it. Hence, we got bored and moved on.
>>221387194Good. If I hear another clown answering any question with 'yes chef' i'm having an aneurysm
>>221389093I'm one of those guys too, but I recently jumped into my own food business and I'm enjoying it a lot. I make one specific food exceptionally well and people are latching onto it. Still in early stages but if I can survive the economic downturn I will come out with a restaurant that might be franchisable.
