I used to do this thing in college where I’d host movie screenings in my dorm and introduce each movie as if I were its director. For example, I remember doing a screening of Jurassic Park and pretending to be Steven Spielberg.It started with just my roommate and a guy from my biology class. Apparently word spread, and each week more people from college would show up to watch whatever movie I’d picked.Well… it turns out people mostly thought I was really weird and were coming to film me and make fun of me.My school newspaper used to do this thing 100 days before graduation where they published banter articles taking digs at people around campus. That year, they put me on the front page and portrayed me like I was schizophrenic.Never watching a movie with anyone else ever again.
