Watch the way people act when they come out of the plane. Aside from one or two comments, mostly everyone is silent. They drift in all directions and look at the ground. Where are they going? There's nowhere to go. The modern world's ripped away all at once, they witnessed something raw and true. Now they're in a pocket universe until rescue arrives, contemplating their lives as from a distance.
