>Simon Pegg turns up in your comfy serious war series
Why do this?
>>
>>221391857
>have Fassbender
>use him occasionally as a glorified extra
>>
>>221391857
surely ross would have been a bigger issue, zoomie

He didn't actually bother me to be honest. Pegg just feels out of place doing anything serious
>>
What were all these Brits doing playing American GIs anyway?
>>
>>221392049
it's always valuable to have a foreigner play a historical version of your own culture. Your mannerisms will always spoil the performance. Foreigners don't have those habits. That's what I think anyway. No idea why the producer thought this was a good idea.

>kike fanfiction
the specific jews in it are not really the problem op

I think around the same time as Spaced he appeared in a BBC drama

David Walliams is another 'funny man' who also likes dipping into serious drama

But at least Jimmy Fal- oh. Nevermind.

Nothing is as bad as Ewan McGregor in BHD. At least in BoB they can do convincing American accents for the most part.

There were some "serious bits" in his comedy films. In The World's End his character is a deeply depressed manchild with bandages over his slit wrists. There's a bleak side to his work.

>jew plays character hated by everyone
Nah he was perfect casting

>serious
It's hamfisted slop.

I still don't understand why HBO didn't have the real life Easy Company soldiers discussing that time they liberated a Nazi death camp? Was witnessing the rollercoaster of doom really that traumatizing?

>Ewan McGregor
He was only one of many. Based Ridley Scott hiring fellow brits and and aussies and trying to pass them off as americans.

BoB was in 2001. Fassbender was a literal nobody back then.
300 was the first movie that kind of put him on the map, and that one was in 2006

I hate when they use comedic actors for drill sergeant’s. Vince Voughn had to be the worst. Literally took me out of the movie
