>According to the canon comic series continuing on the story, the Event Horizon is possessed by the demon Paimon. Over 200 years later, an evil billionaire sends his disposable employees to investigate, where they find Lieutenant Starck still alive. It is revealed that she returned to the Event Horizon and has been single-handedly fighting back the demonic forces for 231 years. The ship then starts heading back out towards Neptune. Starck, holding a severed demon's head, explains that the Event Horizon is preparing to take them back to Hell and that, "they're going to need their guns... because the demons just don't kill themselves."
