just makes me want to go watch the cartoon.
the whole sequence from the desert until the end of the season is such an iconic series of events. i just can't believe they messed with it.

Toph was just incredible. She looks good, sounds good, acts good. Minus the clumsy line about metalbending, single point of failure.
Anyway, it's annoying how much extra dialogue there was that wasn't that interesting. Sure, some of it was neat, like it was connecting things that the animated series missed. But when you know all the cool shit that we didn't get, it's hard not to be annoyed.
I liked that one scene where Katara is explaining healing, sets up both the spirit water and bloodbending. Actually there was at least two more scenes that set-up bloodbending. Very clever stuff.
