Whats with low budget small contained movies that make them so much better than the high budget hollywood slop?Just watched this and its better than pretty much anything that came out in the last couple of years

Watched this a bit ago, genuinely really enjoyed it desu. The action scenes were neat and I liked the dialogue. Plus Tim Blake Nelson is always just kino in pretty much everything he's in desu.Loved him in Holes too.Although I thought the "twist" at the end with his identity was pretty silly and wished it wasn't included, or he just ended up being some random in universe famous gunslinger, rather than, well, you know. Was a nice movie to put on and just watch with an empty head late at night sippin some drinks

I got meme’d into watching this by some guy on here who said it was the best film in years and it was just an average modern western. They don’t make many that aren’t slop so anything above that is overly praised. Watch Appaloosa.
