>>
nolan is a hack but not because of this asinine bullshit
>>

Both movies go over your head btw
>>
Nolan's hackness is comprised of many factors, this is just one of them
>>
>thing
>thing, Japan

This doesn't disprove OP.

nolan is a hack an inception is such a boring unispired movie just like his copaganda batman flicks, and his gray looking odyseey.
He has 0 creativity in his mind and doesnt understan what makes prople actually want to engage with art, he literally thought the way to make his movie more like classic cibema was to use an old camera.

>some japanese company copied a motorcycle in 1950, that means you can't criticize nolan
>>

Copying shit is built into their brains.
They have an entire alphabet used specifically for words they steal from other countries and then mis-use and mis-pronounce.
>>
>movie has references to its inspiration
and that a bad thing
>>
>>221407141
He also ripped off Makoto Shinkai with interstellar.

Nolan > Satoshi Kon

And Anno. And Kubrick. Who gives a shit? Shinkai makes the dullest slop possible.
>>
It's hilarious how most anime "auteurs" create less inspired content than what you can find airing seasonally. Pseuds fell for the meme wholesale.

This is entirely intentional. In Japan, it was known as "westernization," which is different from how you might think the term now. Back during the late meiji and taisho era, the government would pay people to go to other countries, find cool shit, and come back to make the Japanese version of it. This actually did lead to certain unique, and original hybrid technologies that merged eastern and western knowledge.

You're describing Kubrick.
