>She's NOT Curzon Dax, okay?>And also Dax isn't really the same Dax>But Sisko will continue to call her "old man" for the rest of the seriesMake up your damn mind
>>221408240she's the worst character on this show, she was such a piece of shit towards worf
>>221408267Worf loved her for that because he knew what piece of shit he really was.
>>221408282Worf's a good guy but he's very self-loathing so yeah that's more or less true
>>221408240she has the memories but exerts her own influence on things. sisko calls her that because it's funny.
>>221408240Who cares her nudes are great
>>221408309Worf's a good officer but his actions towards his son and his brother disqualify him for being a good guy.
i'm not a star trek fag, i just watched ds9 because i heard it was like babylon 5. it kinda was, i liked it. anyway star trek fags apparently hate jadzia because terry's a bad actress or something, but i really liked her and enjoyed her episodes. yeah she wasn't some shakespearean theater actor but she was serviceable and serviceable acting + classical beauty is enough for me. conventionally attractive babes in sci-fi are a rarity. it's all dyke haircuts or ugly outfits.
>>221408334That's fair but do you mean one particular brother or both?
Jadzia is practically Curzon with tits but Ezri isn't petite Jadzia.
>>221408240Worf put up with this bitch, because she fucked like a champ
>>221408390He was okay with being dishonored but didn't ask his brother if he was ready for it.
>>221408390I meant the one that he dragged into sick bay after he passed out from drinking and mindwiped. He was a dick to Paul Sorvino too but at least he didn't destroy his sense of self to avoid personal embarrassment.
>>221408240There is no mind to be made up. Dax is the symbiote, the little worm hitching a ride. Jadzia is the chick its hitching a ride in. Curzon was the guy Dax was previously hitching a ride in. Dax shares its memories of when it was in Curzon with Jadzia. Sisko calls Jadzia "old man" because her and Dax are linked. Its not a hard concept, he's friends with the worm and that automatically makes him friends with Jadzia even though they just met
>>221408447I get it but there was a whole episode in which Sisko argued that neither Jadzia Dax nor Dax independently can be considered responsible for the actions of Curzon Dax because they're fundamentally changed
>>221408526If that's the one where she's on trial for treason for something curzon did that's my favorite Jadzia episode because she spends most of it being completely silent.
>>221408526There's also an episode where a dude steals Dax and puts it in himself. Dax can't stop him. Its a passenger. Them going after Jadzia in that other episode for what Curzon did was dumb, and that was kind of the point of the episode
>>221408621It's not so dumb considering how often Jadzia refers to herself as being other peopleI'm just saying that both concepts are kinda contradictory
And then she's bound by Curzon's blood-oath to the TOS Klingons, when those Klingons themselves say that she is not.
>>221408337She's a bit bland for a being that lives multiple lifetimes but I like her enough. She has her moments. She also got dealt a worse hand from the writing team than most of the charactersEzri is annoying as fuck though. Part of the reason 7 season drops the ball so much is Ezri. Especially the dreadful love triangle. People just give her a pass because Nicole de boer is so sexy cute.
>>221408721>contradictoryWelcome to having two people sharing a body, and one of the people have memories of dozens of other people
>>221408765There were too many ezri episodes in the last season, especially since there wasn't any need for her character. They should have let the worm and all the stupid trill storylines die and promoted one of the many recurring characters to main cast. She was a better character overall than Jadzia who unlike ezri didn't have any identity besides wormhost number 8.
>>221408819Fair enoughI think this is why I have a bit of a soft spot for Ezri conceptually since never being trained she has more of an excuse for her identity crises
>>221408819honestly, stargate just extrajudicially murderizing goa'ulds on sight makes this dynamic a lot more bearable.
>>221408267She loved wild Klingon sex, where's the fucking issue?
>>221408526he loses that argument, dax only gets off because the whore wife confesses
>>221408863It's not extrajudicial if the president says it's okay, in writing.
>>221408765yeah i thought it was weird that seemingly people who disliked jadzia liked ezri. don't get me wrong, i liked both, i knew nicole de boer from the dead zone, but i don't think she showed any more acting chops (i mean in this role, i agree nicole de boer is a better actress than terry farrell) or had better plots or writing than jadzia.
>>221408765Now that I think about it I really like Guinan from TNGDespite the fact that Whoopi Goldberg was in like her mid 20s I never had any problems believing that she was centuries old, and yet that never seemed true of Jadzia
>>221408240Sisko went to the mirror universe and banged this whore
>>221409258The DS9 mirror universe episodes were a bore.
>>221409275I skip every single one except the Jake and Mrs Sisko episode, I never skip a good Jake episode
>>221409326I didn't even know there was a Jake and Mrs Sisko episode since I skipped them all and why were there so many of them?
>>221408240The whole concept of Trills were weird and mishandled in the show.
>>221409447they needed something different for the main crew to do because they were so poorly cast the supporting characters had to carry the show.
>>221409017Ezri was certainly an interesting take since she got a symbiont stuck in her with zero training or expectation of ever becoming a host and the fallout from that wasn't just glazed over. She's a counselor who's a basket case herself and has to rebuild the relationships with her own immediate family and Dax's friends/coworkers from square one.
>>221411050Worf banged her tooHe learned from Riker
>>221408240It's not that difficult, OP. it's a symbiote. It has all the memories so Sisko plays it like they've got the same relationship but sonce it's attached to another person there are differences, it doesn't take over the host's mind.
