i'm not a star trek fag, i just watched ds9 because i heard it was like babylon 5. it kinda was, i liked it. anyway star trek fags apparently hate jadzia because terry's a bad actress or something, but i really liked her and enjoyed her episodes. yeah she wasn't some shakespearean theater actor but she was serviceable and serviceable acting + classical beauty is enough for me. conventionally attractive babes in sci-fi are a rarity. it's all dyke haircuts or ugly outfits.

There is no mind to be made up. Dax is the symbiote, the little worm hitching a ride. Jadzia is the chick its hitching a ride in. Curzon was the guy Dax was previously hitching a ride in. Dax shares its memories of when it was in Curzon with Jadzia. Sisko calls Jadzia "old man" because her and Dax are linked. Its not a hard concept, he's friends with the worm and that automatically makes him friends with Jadzia even though they just met

Ezri is annoying as fuck though. Part of the reason 7 season drops the ball so much is Ezri. Especially the dreadful love triangle. People just give her a pass because Nicole de boer is so sexy cute.

There were too many ezri episodes in the last season, especially since there wasn't any need for her character. They should have let the worm and all the stupid trill storylines die and promoted one of the many recurring characters to main cast. She was a better character overall than Jadzia who unlike ezri didn't have any identity besides wormhost number 8.

Ezri was certainly an interesting take since she got a symbiont stuck in her with zero training or expectation of ever becoming a host and the fallout from that wasn't just glazed over. She's a counselor who's a basket case herself and has to rebuild the relationships with her own immediate family and Dax's friends/coworkers from square one.
