This was surprisingly heartfelt by the end even though most of the movie felt cold and sterile. Any other horror/thriller kinos with the same feel?
Haven't seen it but stay with ryan gosling and never here 2017 are great thrillers.

>>221413470to be fair, i’m not a huge fan of thrillers in general. much moreso into horror so my expectations definitely skewed my experience. i recently watched brimstone and that whelmed me quite a bit.
This movie is basically the best adaptation of the comics mythos to cinema since Unbreakable (2000), but none of the "big brains" from Letterboxd noticed.

>>221416607It's pretty fresh (the protagonist is a unique kind of weirdo doing a weird thing not really previously explored in cinema), tastefully shocking, and has some great cinematography.I think it's worth a watch for anyone who doesn't straight up avoid thrillers.
