This show was trashed the moment they nig's the Velaryons. Anyone who ever thought this show was going to be good should throw themselves down a flight of stairs.

House of the Dragon is not a show about two big houses led by very flawed women digging and digging a deeper hole in an attempt to gain a crumb of agency or power until they cease to exist because of their decisions, it is a show where everyone (mainly male characters) guilt trips Rhaenyra and Alicent into doing something dubious or malicious so we can later have them weeping and making sad puppy eyes to demonstrate they are little girls who had no idea what they were doing, it was all the bad mans fault!Women aren't allowed to be complex characters anymore, they cant be evil, cunning, or morally grey.
