Tommy was just an unfortunate casualty. He was the only one I think who ended up actually becoming an alcoholic, because you can see in the one scene where Mads confronts him and Tommy is like compulsively trying to drink more liquor and he just can't stop
One thing about the film that I wished it maybe portrayed is alcohol withdrawals, because they would've had to have experienced withdrawals the way they conducted the experiment
Also, I can't wait for the Americanized version of this film with Leonardo DiCaprio, I bet it will be interesting

It will be shit
The whole culture in America around drinking is different (for example, a teacher telling a high schooler to take a shot before his final exam to calm his nerves)
Plus, the film builds and builds to the final release where Mads cuts loose at the end and there's no way Leo can dance half as good as Mads
