>Gen Zer enters The Backrooms>Holy Chicago!! This sure is suss and spooky and liminal frfr!>I enter The Backrooms>What the fuck? I suddenly need to take a shit REALLY bad!Why am I like this?
>He ate before going into The Backrooms
if i entered the Backrooms, i can promise you one thing: only one of us is leaving alive.
Does the backrooms have bathrooms? Backbathrooms if you will?
>>221480388Can't wait for the inevitable Stadium Piss Trough Rooms parody
>>221480388I think one of the backroom layers is a water park, surely there would be bathrooms there.
>>221480388>>221480470Just piss in the pool or any one of the various yawning chasms.
>>221480322>Gen Zer enters The Backrooms>Holy Chicago!! This sure is suss and spooky and liminal frfr!>Gen Xer enters The Backrooms>Holy shit, this reminds me of a stable, well paid office job with great benefits, save me, I'M GOING INSANE AAAAHHHHH!!!!
Has there ever been a study done on the things that "spook" people from generation to generation? I can't really wrap my head around what's so scary about this.
>>221480543Probably because you had reached mental maturity decades prior to the COVID lockdowns. It's a COVID baby thing.
>>221480388you're laughing, but someone recently posted on reddit how they have a recurrimg dream about being lost or just walking around some large restroom space where every toilet is kind filthy and many people say they saw the same dream. After thinking about it I can confirm I also had this dream. I think it's a brain's way to tell us "fren, you need to take a dump, but not in your bed".
>>221480575It's hilarious how dreams are about this shit. I remember a vivid one I had about a year or so ago where it's the typical rushing water everywhere you go "wink, wink, hint, hint" waterfalls and running faucets and tidal waves but I clearly wasn't paying attention to the messaging the dream was conveying so some random guy shows up and says quite directly "wake up and go take a piss" and that's when I woke up and promptly realized I needed to piss and went to the bathroom.
>>221480683Don't lie, you wet the bed, didn't you?
>>221480733No, anon. I didn't.
>>221480377If I entered the Backrooms, I can promise you one thing: I'm walking out of there with drained balls and a shit-covered dick
>>221480322
>>221480322What if we send all the homeless to the backrooms?
>>221480879send all indians to the backrooms, there are no toilets there so no problem
>>221480879They'd still find a way to sue your city for overbearing resting/loitering ordinances and your city WILL pay.
>>221480543The uneasy feeling of things being out of place. The "uncanny valley" architecture. The seemingly endless expanse. The dead, abandoned look.A general feeling of being lost, trapped, and alone, combined with the feeling that something malevolent could also be in there with you.I'm a millennial and I get it, even though I don't find it particularly terrifying or anything. It's akin to the dismal, creepy feeling you can get while walking around an empty, dead mall or other modern communal building.
>>221480994Nah, none of that is scary.
>>221480575I had dreams when I was a kid where I’d start pissing in a toilet then I’d wake up in bed pissing my pants.
Liminal spaces are comfy to me. It's almost an ASMR thing. They give me pleasant tingles and I feel really relaxed looking at them. But I'm a Gen-Xer.
