That said, they took away rental stores, music stores, video stores, book stores; are hard at work getting rid of any means to actually own what you paid for (streaming is just a lifetime rental agreement, rescindable at any time by them); and have completely pozzed all online streaming interfaces (I browse my owned vids library on amazon or wherever, but they only show 2 thumbs at a time on a 70" screen and take 2 seconds to page over?). We had an agreement that I would pay for their product, but they took the product away without my consent. So I no longer gaf. Still don't do it, though.

My computer is ready to run another 10 years. My storage capacity has expanded to 90TB. I will never pay the entertainment industry or the computer industry for anything ever again. They're lucky they're not getting shot at desu.
Streaming is fucking terrible. At least with music streaming, you are paying $11 a month and you get access to a massive quantity of music, virtually everything worth listening to. I could spend $300 dollars on month on streaming services and still 75% of the stuff I want to watch is still unavailable. Its dogshit. There are no good streaming services, just pirate everything or buy it on dvd if you have the money. That being said I don't care about newer tv shows or movies generally, so I'm a bit biased.

torrenting top quality encodes from private trackers is easily the best way to acquire movies and TV and it's not even close
