He's a deadbeat dad in prison and the warden offers him a shorter sentence if he can convince his estranged son to go to college and play basketball. Amazing dramatic performance. Courage under fire is a really solid military legal drama. American Gangster, he plays frank lucas, directed by Ridley Scott, and Russel Crowe again. Fallen is a solid supernatural horror. Book of Eli is an OK post apocalyptic movie. He's a really solid actor and he's made more good movies than bad, especially through the 90's he was a really bankable star.

Go watch Crimson Tide, that actor could have been any size shape or color because the race of the character has nothing to do with anything. I have only seen a few Denzel Washington movies and I think he's fine, but why does every actor say he's the best ever? Is it a joke? Is there something I'm missing?
