I still rewatch S1-4, I watched DUNK and rewatched it immediately, then watched the "Making of" episodes.I only lasted two episodes on HOTD. It's like there was nobody to latch onto. I wanted to watch it for Viserys because I like the actor but he kinda felt like a secondary plot device and, of course, he wouldn't be around for long anyway.And yeah, I'm just gonna say it; it's really fucking hard to get past the Nigaryens.And that's coming from a dude who watched The Magnificent Seven (2016) and The Tragedy of Macbeth (2021) and took no issue with Denzel in those roles.Oh and Matt Smith is insufferable. I mean not him literally, he's a fine dude, but he's horribly miscast. Entertaining because the character is good, but wasted because they cast him in that role.Oh, and nobody likes timeskips. Especially ones that result in recasts. CGI dragons aren't cool. How To Train Your Dragon is both a better book series than ASOIAF and a better series of movies than HOTD.Thanks for reading my blog.
