Watched Infested in preparation for Evil Dead Burn (same director).Thought it was pretty garbage. Unlikable, retarded characters. Really mediocre direction and cinematography outside of like one cool shot.Really hope Burn is better than this.

The gods are real unlike the first two where it's made fairly ambiguous but they stopped answering Hel's sacrifices long ago but they still go through with the rituals out of tradition. The main character's husband suicided to try and stop the rituals and to save his own daughter from being picked next but it was in vain. The gods arrive and destroy the island.
