Finally caught one of the newer seasons eps. This one where Francine gets brain damage because of Stan and becomes obsessed with John Mayer speaking to her through the radio but Stan can't admit he led to this so he has to ride out her insane quest to confront John Mayer. Another instant classic for the dadders. Crazy its going back to fox. What a journey.

Some had terrible pacing, while others bad jokes...They focused on characters I hate, like Billy, Dr. Nazi, and Tuttle.There was real potential when I saw the family evolving, but... nothing quite as brilliant as what we had on FOX.Pretty sure Mike Barker's departure had something to do with it.

When I think of the classics now they're all from the earlier TBS era, only a handful of the original 8 seasons had episodes that weren't mediocre. It sucked. The only good episode was when Jeff hangs out with the Italian because tomato and a little salt is kino.This is objectively the natural order of things. The second half of AD seasons has the kino arthouse episode that justifies the slop.
