Why did they stop making iconic zeitgeist sitcoms in the last 10 years
>>
Millenials and zoomers are antisemitic
>>
Humor today is derived from a 5 second Tiktok or Youtube short. Can't really do that in sitcom format
>>
There will never be such an iconic zeitgeist moment as "Bazinga." again.

it's the cinemafictation of television.
>>
Elaine: He took - huff huff - it out.
Jerry: His dilator?
Elaine: Ripped it right out.
Jerry: You saw his neo vag?
Elaine: The whole gaping wound.
Kramer: I knew a trans once. We threw him out of the men's room. Then when he went to the women's room, we threw him out of there, too. Not on my watch, Jerry. *in a high voice* Not on my watch!
George: I'm thinking of transitioning.
*Audience laughter*
Elaine: To a man?
*Audience howls*
*Jerry grins*
*George scowls*
*Keyboard bass*

Audience fragmentation means it's very hard for anything to be zeitgeisty. The last season of Big Bang Theory averaged 17 million live viewers in one country. Most "big" streaming shows don't pull those eyeballs globally in a far longer period of time.
