Why did Modern Family have no cultural impact despite how popular it was?
>>
>>221633304
I saw so much of it in the psych ward that I never want to see it again.
>>
>>221633304
I wish I had a goofy Phil dunphy dad instead of a constantly angry addict
>>
It's like having someone who has only ever heard about sitcoms, never seen one, describe one to you in abstract terms
>>
Nothing novel about it I guess. Maybe normalizing fat white guys marrying latinas?
>>
>>221633421
>You know, uh, it like, has parents and kids, and some gays an stuff..
lmao you're right
>>
>>221633304
I have never heard of something called modern family. I have never seen those people
>>
>>221633304
It was pretty witty, but it's style of writing was really just a watered down Arrested Development, and its format was really close to The Office. It was just kinda generic and lacked an identity of its own.
>>
>>221633304
Gen X liked it and they don’t really attribute to the internet so…
>>
Loss of titties ruined it
>>
>>221633304
Cause even though it had millions of fans they're the millions of silent and unseen Facebook users with no significant cultural footprint.

She had an impact on my penis

they go by they/them now
>>

did you get a newsletter in the mail to inform you of this?
>>
>>221633421
Lmfao hit the nail on the head
>>
>>221633304
No impact? This is how fucked we are - you didn't even notice it has two men living together who adopt a kid. Normalizing that shit.
>>
>>221633304
It was fake popular. Boomer media acted like it was really popular because it had 0.6 million viewers instead of 0.5

What do you think?
Also she changed her name for performing which was confusing to see because I forgot about it
>>
>>221633323
I would think they had Disney or nick on. The hospital emergency room had Disney channel.
>>
>>221637379
Good for them but what is that grill? What are they even making?
>>
>>221637606
Shishkebab. Bell pepper and onion chunks, and probably chicken on skewers. They're breddy gud desu
>>
The girl who played Hailee had some awesome leaks, even a threesome vid but that was never fully released
>>
>>221637379
why does she have a jewish nose?
>>
Damn, she loves showing her bellybutton
>>221637606
Skewers, basic grill food
>>
>>221633421
Kek, accurate. It's like a fictional sitcom that takes place inside another TV show, there's just nothing special about it.

Lilly! You need to cover up.
>>
>>221638034
She needs to get uncovered
Quick, somebody needs to convince her getting naked on stage would be really artsy
>>
>>221633555
you forgot the hot moms, that are usually too hot to be married to the dad

>>221633304
>Why did Modern Family have no cultural impact despite how popular it was?
It was very unrelatable to gen-x, millennials, and zoomers. Gen-x and millennials have The Office. IDK what zoomers have.

It was popular because it was watchable for the whole family as long as the family wasn't super homophobic. Mothers and daughters can watch it for the light humor. Fathers and sons can goon to the moms and daughters. LGBT can watch it for the gay couple.
>>
>>221638078
Oops
>>
>>221638109
I think Modern Family was maybe more for progressive boomers or the oldest gen-x, as I'm a millenialfag myself and it seemed like it was only peoples parents that watched it.
>>
>>221638112
She would not be difficult to convince like "Oh yeah, this is gonna be really tasteful nudity"
>>
>>221633304
After the office the mockumentary style got lot of shows like this, community and parks and rec and even a new show set in a hospital. They’re all kind of mid a lot of the time but have some funny moments
>>
>>221637801
>>221637963
Never made any. Did make a pouch of vegetables and sausages in aluminum foil. Delicious.
>>
I found it funny how the "hot" sister ends up getting completely mogged by the little nerdy one in later season
>>
>>221638109
>you forgot the hot moms, that are usually too hot to be married to the dad
I dunno, I always found it easy to believe that Phil was low-key really popular with women.
>>
>>221639455
It got balanced again.
>>
>>221638109
>IDK what zoomers have
I never thought it would be so simple but I found a way
