This is actually a good idea for once. If it's going to be anything like the live action Avatar or One Piece, the comedy will be toned way down and there will be more focus on spectacle. That's something part 1 Naruto actually needs because as it is, they spend way too much time fucking around even outside of filler. The colors of anime characters don't match the dark eyes, black hair of Japanese people, but the facial characteristics do. Get rid of the fantasy coloring and they look more Japanese. You need to look at Korean anime and manga for that. They often use realistic Asian faces to contrast against the main characters beauty. The disturbing part is it's played off as a comedy. Koreans freely admit that they prefer Western white beauty standards over Asian beauty standards.

Regarding Japan, it's something that makes them uncomfortable. They don't like drawing realistic Asian faces and noses. When confronted on why, it makes them uncomfortable or they claim they are just following historical trends. They don't want to think critically about it or why plastic surgery is so popular in Asia.
