It’s currently mid-July and I can already say with absolute certainty that Ellen “Elliot” Page will win Best Supporting Actor at the 99th Academy Awards. There’s nothing the Academy wants more than for a trans actor to win for the opposite of their biological sex, something they were DENIED two years ago when the actor for Emilia Perez had tweeted something problematic at one point and therefore couldn’t be allowed to win.
